Charging the battery
Caution
Property damage due to incorrect power supply!
Only those power supply units which have been manufactured in accor-
dance with the specified values for output voltage / output current may be
used! Otherwise, the device may be damaged.
Information
Before first use, the device must be charged completely.
Proceed as follows to charge the battery:
1) Plug the USB cable with the Type A plug into the power supply unit.
2) Plug the power supply unit into the power supply.
3) Plug the USB cable with the Type C connector into the charging socket
of the device. The battery symbol
appears on the display and the
battery is charged.
4) Press the operating button once to display the state of charge.
5) Press the operating button twice to switch off the device again. The de-
vice continues charging.
Once
appears on the switched-on display, the battery is completely
charged.
Information
While the KeMes A100 is charging, no angle measurement can be carried
out.
The battery symbol alternates between showing that the battery is charging
(segments are filled in from right to left) and the current battery charge (seg-
ments are lit up based on the charge). The symbol automatically disappears
after a few seconds. In case of a fault in the charging process, this filling of
the battery symbol is not displayed.
Information
When charging KeMes A100, faults on the power supply in an industrial en-
vironment line can impair the charging process. If this impairment occurs
repeatedly, then charging in a business environment, e.g. in an office
space, as well as selective testing of the network quality is recommended.
