4.4.1 Auxiliary fan (optional)
Externally cooled motors can optionally be equipped with an additional electric fan. The
auxiliary fan must be externally supplied with voltage and switched on. The fan is mount-
ed opposite the coupling side to ensure axial ventilation. The air is drawn in from the rear
of the motor and directed to the flange side.
NOTICE
Damage due to overheating !

Keep the minimum distance for the supply air.
►
Prevent external air turbulence at the motor inlet/outlet.
►
Keep the motor away from additional heat sources (e.g. other devic-
es, sunlight).
