Warranty
KayserBetten GmbH & Co. KG provides a warranty for new devices
and their components purchased within the European Union, which
are proven to be defective within 24 months of purchase because of
fabrication and/or material defects.
This warranty does not apply if the defect is attributable to improper
use and/or disregard for its intended purpose or the rules of conduct
found in this Instruction manual. Disregard for the Instructions for use,
improperly performed maintenance work as well as technical changes
and additions (attachments) made without the permission of Kayser-
Betten GmbH & Co. KG will invalidate any warranty and product
liability.
Declaration of Conformity
Care beds from the manufacturer KayserBetten GmbH & Co. KG carry
the CE label and are manufactured in accordance with the technical
documentation and fulfil the requirements of Directive 93/42/EEC,
Annex VII (EC Directive concerning medical devices) and all appli-
cable parts of the currently applicable standards of DIN EN 60601-1,
DIN EN 60601-2-52, DIN 32623, DIN EN 716-1.
The current declaration of conformity can be downloaded directly
from our website at www.kayserbetten.de.
The safety requirements can only be met if the operator/user/qualified
staff ensure themselves of the proper functioning and condition of the
care bed and its accessories before using it/them.

The signal word 'WARNING‘ warns of possible danger to persons that
may result in death or serious injury.
CAUTION!
The signal word 'CAUTION‘ warns of possible danger to persons that
may result in moderate or minor injuries.
