Care Bed
EMC Warning
The electric units comply with the essential safety requirements outli-
ned in the Directive on the Approximation of Legislation for the Mem-
ber States regarding electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) (89/336/
EEC). However, it cannot be completely ruled out that, under certain
conditions, interference between electrical appliances may occur,
especially when using mobile phones.
Staff qualifications
In accordance with MPBetreibV §2, the care bed may only be ins-
talled, operated, maintained and repaired by qualified personnel
possessing the required training or equivalent knowledge and experi-
ence.
Intended use
Use the care bed for home use or use in clinical areas (applicable
environment 2,3,4,5).
Do not use any unnecessary extension cables (only applicable to
electrically adjustable care beds).
Use the care bed to alleviate or compensate for patient disabilities
and to improve the working conditions of care personnel in nur-
sing homes, clinics and home care.
The suitability of the care bed depends on each individual case,
the medical, physical and mental condition of patients and must
be assessed by qualified care staff and/or the doctor or therapist
performing the treatment. In particular, the motor behavior of the
patient must be taken into account.
Use the care bed for patients under the age of 12. Anthropometric
data and individual needs must be considered when dealing with
older patients.
Use the care bed only on a level surface
(maximum inclination 5˚).
Do not exceed the maximum load capacity of the care bed,
which is 150 kg.
