Cleaning
Detergents
Suitable detergents and disinfection agents are:
–
Any detergents intended for wood or plastic furniture.
–
Dermatologically tested household cleaner without ammonia or
scouring agents.
–
Disinfection agents in line with the DGHM list from 04.02.2002
(German Society for Hygiene and Microbiology).
Cleaning the care bed
Please note
Unsuitable detergents can lead to material damage.
Do not use any solvents or scouring agents.
1. Wipe the care bed down by hand with a damp cloth. Ensure that
no water comes into contact with electric components.
2. Leave the care bed to dry.

1. Disinfect the care bed.
2. Leave the care bed to dry.
10 Maintenance
In accordance with MPBetreibV §4 (Maintenance), care bed operators
are required to ensure the safe condition of the medical device over
the entire period of use.
The test in accordance with VDE 0751-1 includes the following mini-
mum requirements:

Visual inspection
–
Insulation resistance measurement
–
Leakage current measurement
–
Functional inspection
–
Overall evaluation
To ensure the safe operation of the care bed, a visual and functional
inspection, including electrical testing, must be conducted at least
once a year.
