Care Bed

Care beds for children
Check the care bed once a year in accordance with the TSC list in
line with VDE 0751-1 (see protocol for inspection in the Appen-
dix).
Copy the TSC list (see protocol for inspection in the Appendix)
and document the inspection on the copy.

The outwardly opening doors
won’t open.
The door lock is still locked.
Open the door lock (see Section
‘Opening/closing the door lock’).
12 Repairs
Only have the care bed repaired by qualified staff. Contact the
manufacturer (see Section ‘Manufacturer’).
13 Disassembly
Please note
The service life for care beds in domestic environs is about five years.
Frequent transportation, repositioning and moving reduces their ser-
vice life.
Only transport, assemble and move the care bed when necessary.
Disassembling the care bed
The care bed may only be disassembled when there is no patient in it.
1. Open the door lock (see Section ‘Opening/closing the door lock’).
2. Unscrew the brackets.
3. Remove the mattress.
CAUTION!
4. Moving components. The outwardly opening doors may close and
crush or injure extremities. Take care no extremities get in the
way.

Loosen the brass caps on the outwardly opening doors with
the Allen key (pos. 29) and remove the outwardly opening
doors.
