Do not use a filter for more than three months.

Return to fresh, clean air immediately and take OFF helmet if:
a) Leakage is detected by smell, taste or eye, nose or throat irritation.
b) Inhaled air becomes extremely hot.
c) Any feeling of nausea, dizziness or ill being develops.
7.7 THE RESPIRATOR PROVIDES REDUCED PROTECTION IN THE EVENT OF A
MALFUNCTION OF THE VENTILATION UNIT.
7.8
Never alter or modify this respirator in any way.
7.9
Do not use the respirator if the mask has not been cleaned and accurately
decontaminated.
7.10 Do not use the respirator with mask if the inward leakage test, indicated hereunder,
carried out on the mask is negative:
7.10.1 Leakage test:
Close the female thread with the palm of a hand and inhale slightly to generate a
negative pressure (vacuum inside the mask). Hold your breath for a moment. If the
negative pressure is not maintained, tighten the straps further and repeat the test.

7.11 This equipment is to be used only by qualified personnel with knowledge of its technical
and legal limits .
7.12 Do not use the respirator if your sense of smell is in any way impaired.
7.13 Do not use the respirator if it has not been serviced annually by a Kasco authorized
service centre.

REPAIRS
8.1
Use only genuine KASCO spares.
8.2
Should you require technical assistance for problems that could arise while using
KASCO equipment ,the following information is necessary:
type of respirator ,serial number, name of distributor or dealer, problem, nominal voltage, type
and concentration of pollutant, type of filter used, use frequency, also include a sketch or
drawing of the type of work carried out if you feel it might be useful.

MARKINGS:
The CE mark certifies compliance with the essential health and safety
requirements in Annex II of Regulation (EU) 2016/425. The number 0426
after EC identifies the Notified Body ITALCERT control institute of the
finished product in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/425.

The CE0426 marking, the EN136:1998 CL3 reference standard, code, series number and date
of manufacture are located inside the half mask cover.
The name of manufacturer and the model are located on either side of the inhalation

TRANSPORT
10.1
Keep the respirator in its original packaging during transport.

STORAGE
Store filters in their original packaging at a temperature between 0°C and +40°C and a relative
humidity lower than 80%.

BEFORE USE CHECK THAT CODE NUMBERS, TYPE AND QUANTITY OF SUB
ASSEMBLIES CORRESPOND TO THE DATA REPORTED ON THESE USER’S
INSTRUCTIONS.
12.2
Kasco retains any type of warranty forfeited on the instant and declines any liability
either direct or indirect should our Use and Maintenance instructions not be adhered to
and should filters and spares other than genuine Kasco filters and spare be used.
12.3
The liability for the proper operation of the respirator is irrevocably transferred to the
respirator purchaser or operator if:
a)
the prescribed maintenance is not carried out and/or repairs and maintenance are carried
out on the respirator by personnel not employed by or service centres not authorized by
KASCO.
b)
the respirator is used in a manner not conforming to its intended use as specified in the
relative product certification/approval.
IMPORTANT:
Adhere strictly to all instructions, labels and limitations pertaining to this equipment. If
instructions and warning are not adhered to at all times, respirator effectiveness will
diminish and wearer protection will be reduced.
The PPE, subject of these use instructions, has been CE certified as a Cat III PPE as per Regulation (EU) 2016/425
and successive modifications by ITALCERT, Viale Sarca, 336 - 20126 MILAN,
Notified Body 0426. The CE marking means the respect of the essential Health and Safety requirements contained in Annexe II of the Regulation (EU) 2016/425. The number 0426 following the CE
mark identifies the ITALCERT Notified Body responsible for the Quality Assurance Control according to Regulation (EU) 2016/425. Declarati ons of conformity may be downloaded from our website:

USE INSTRUCTIONS
Plug the battery charger into mains.
Connect battery charger outlet plug to the discharged battery.
Battery recharging is automatic. ( RED LED) Keep LI-870 battery under charge at least
and 2,5 hours.
The battery charger may remain plugged into the fully charged battery with no
overcharge risk provided it be under tension.
CAUTION
Store in a dry place.
Use only genuine Kasco spare parts.
