WEATHER CONDITIONS
WARNING
– We recommend you not to drive with bad weather conditions.
This pedal-assisted bicycle is not suitable for wet roads, puddles, rain, watercourses, etc.
Do not immerse the bicycle in water, because this can result in a permanent damage of
the electric system.

Pay more attention if it’s raining.

If the road is wet, brake well in advance. In these conditions, the slowdown needs a
6-time longer distance.

Decrease the riding speed, in order to avoid sudden slowdowns and be able to care

fully turn.

Make yourself visible wearing a high-visibility jacket and safety lights.

Holes and slippery surfaces, as horizontal traffic signs, tram tracks or railways, be

come more dangerous in case of rain.
RIDING BY NIGHT
WARNING – Pay attention while riding by night
Make sure that the bicycle is fully equipped with lights and reflectors, that are correctly
placed and clean.
- Use lights that properly work.
- Front lights must be white and rear ones must be red.
- If using battery lights, make sure the battery is fully charged.
- Some rear lights flash, in order to be highly visible.
- Wear high-visibility and colourful clothes.

Ride by night only if necessary. Slow down and ride only on well-lit and familiar roads.
Pedal technique
- Place your feet in the middle of the pedal.
- While pedalling, make sure that your knees are parallel to the bicycle frame.
- To absorb the shock, keep your elbows slightly bend.
