In order to maintain sound operation of the system, make sure the requirements below
are fulfilled, which are related to the environment in which the exchange is to be
installed.
¨
Check the electrical installation of the premise: if you cannot be certain that it is
adequate, then have a separate grounding system installed in order to protect the
system from the effects of thunderbolt or other sources of high voltage affecting
over lines or connected peripheral units.
¨
Have your exchange installed on locations that are not exposed to direct sunlight
and not humid, and that are ventilated well, with an environmental temperature of
5-40
o
C. The room should be well lit. Your exchange should not be exposed to
effects of dust, vibration, oil and water.
¨
Devices that generate high frequency waves (such as welding machines, office
equipment such as computers and air conditioners, TV sets, etc.) should not be in
the same room if possible, or they should be at least 3 meters away from the
exchange, otherwise.
¨
Since frequently interrupted mains supply would affect proper operation of the
system, take care in making the power connection special for the system.
