Since  the  cabinet  of  the  MS48IP  exchange  is  made  of  plastic,  a  special  design  has
been created in order to distribute grounding within the system. The grounding cable is
connected  to  the  ground  distribution  point  that  is  on  the  exchange.  The  grounding
connection  has  been  connected  by  the  cabling,  which  is  already  available  within  the
exchange,  over  the  grounding  distribution  screw  to  the  motherboard,  to  the  power
supply module and to the power transformer. The expansion modules that have been
installed  on  the  motherboard  are  connected  to  the  ground  over  the  grounding  metal
that is on the motherboard.
