Troubleshooting guide

Malfunctions often have simple causes that you can
remedy yourself using the following overview. When in
doubt, or in the case of malfunctions not mentioned
here, please contact your authorised Customer Service.

The cleaning rollers do not turn and the warning
light lights up

The safety switch-off of the drive motor has triggered,
e.g. B. by excessive pressure on the cleaning rollers or
by driving against a wall or corner.

Press the ON/OFF switch twice.
Only move the device back and forth when cleaning,
do not exert any pressure on the device.

The cleaning rollers are blocked.

Check whether an object is jammed on the cleaning
rollers. Remove the jammed object.

Check whether dirt has accumulated in the sweep
bins and remove it (see chapter

 Cleaning the

sweep bins

).

Check that the sweep bins are fitted correctly. For
this, remove the sweep bins and then fit them back
in place.

The device cannot be switched on

The battery pack is discharged.

Take the battery pack out of the battery mount and
charge it (see chapter

 Ending operation

).

Push the charged battery pack into the battery
mount until it audibly clicks into place (see chapte

Inserting the battery pack

).

The battery pack is not locked into the battery mount.

Push the battery pack into the battery mount until it
audibly clicks into place (see chapte

 Inserting the

battery pack

).

The device does not absorb dirt

There is no water in the fresh water tank.

Fill water into the fresh water tank (see chapter

 Fill-

ing the fresh water tank

).

The fresh water tank is not sitting properly in the device.

Insert the fresh water tank so that it is firmly seated
in the device.

The waste water tank is missing or not sitting properly in
the device.

Check whether the cover is correctly mounted on
the waste water bowl (see chapte

 Cleaning the

waste water tank

).

Insert the waste water tank into the device and fas-
ten it correctly.

The sweep bins are missing or are not sitting correctly
in the waste water tank.

Insert the sweep bins correctly into the waste water
tank (see chapter

 Cleaning the sweep bins

).

The cleaning rollers are missing or are not sitting cor-
rectly in the device.

Insert the cleaning rollers or screw them correctly
onto the roller drives (see chapter

 Cleaning the

cleaning roller

).

The cleaning rollers are dirty or worn out.

Clean the cleaning rollers or replace them.

).

Incorrect detergent or incorrect dosage was used.

Use only the specified KÄRCHER detergent and be
sure to use the correct dosage.

Foreign detergents are present on the floor.

Thoroughly remove all detergent residues from the
cleaning rollers using water.

Clean the floor several times using the device and
clean cleaning rollers, without using detergent.
This removes all detergent residues from the floor.

The water absorption is not optimal

The sweep bins are not sitting correctly in the device.

Insert the sweep bins correctly into the device (see
chapte
