6.1 Troubleshooting without displays
Faults not shown on the
display
Solution
No or too little cleaning agent
supplied
– Check hose to brush head/remove blockage/kink.
– Check/replace fuse (F3).
– Test chemical tank float switch (optional) (S12) using
test mode/replace.
– Test program selector switch (S9) using test mode/
replace.
– The flow meter of the chemical pump (M6) (option) is
contaminated/clean.
– Test chemical pump (M6) (optional) using test mode/
replace.
– Check cable connections/replace defective connetions.
– Test cleaning module printed circuit board (A3) /replace.
Suction performance
– Air intake cover (dirty water tank) blocked/clean
(See Chapter 6.1.2).
– Check/clean /replace seal on cover of dirty water tank
(See Chapter 6.1.2).
– Clean/turn/replace rubber strips on suction beam.
– Check/replace suction hose.
– Check/adjust suction beam setting.
– Test microswitch (S30, S31) of the lifting motor (M30)
using test mode/adjust/replace
Suction motor won't run
– Suction beam raised.
– Dirty water tank full.
– Check/replace fuse (F3).
– Test float switch (S12) using test mode/replace.
– Test program selector switch (S9)/replace.
– Test/replace suction motor (M4) using test mode.
– Check cable connections/remove defective cables.
– Test cleaning module printed circuit board (A3) using
test mode/replace.
Suction motor does not
switch off after the after-
running time
– Float switch blocked/defective (only fully active for dirt
container).
– Limit switch of suction beam lifting motor (S20, S21)
defective/replace.
– Test cleaning module printed circuit board (A3) using
test mode/replace.
Dirty water tank overflows
– Check/replace fuse (F3).
– Test dirty water tank float switch (S11) using test mode/
replace.
– Check cable connections/remove defective cables.
– Test cleaning module printed circuit board (S3) using
test mode/replace
