Setting up the antiviral protection parameters
47
To enable the report database logging mode for objects with a certain
status, do the following:
1. Decide what types of object status will cause the program to add a
record to the log. Open the window of the object with the
corresponding status, e.g. the
Kernel\Undefined reply
window.
2. In
the
Notifications
section select
Yes
for the
Add to log
parameter.
After these settings are made, all the information regarding an object that has a
corresponding kernel response will be logged in the report database log, where
the user can read and process it (see section 8.3 on page 63).
5.5.
Check-up objects processing
methods
After detecting a check-up object with a certain status, the Monitor and the
Scanner modules act according to the preset processing method.
Below we describe possible processing methods for objects with the
Infected
object
status, but the user can set similar parameters for other statuses.
The user can set up one of the following methods of processing infected mail
message objects:
•
Sending infected mail message objects to quarantine (see section 5.5.1
on page 48).
•
Cleaning infected message objects (see section 5.5.2 on page 49).
•
Deleting infected mail message objects (see section 5.5.3 on page 50).
•
Ignoring infected mail message objects (see section 5.5.4 on page 50).
For infected database objects, any of the following processing methods can be
set:
•
Sending infected database objects to quarantine (similar to method
described in section 5.5.1 on page 48).
•
Cleaning infected database objects (similar to method described in
section 5.5.2 on page 49).
•
Deleting infected database objects (similar to method described in section
5.5.3 on page 50).
