4. Make the following changes in the
notes.ini
file:
•
Delete
the
nkavhook
interceptor task from the values of the
EXTMGR_ADDINS parameter.
•
Delete
the
nkavmonitor.exe
and
nkavscanner.exe
tasks from
the values of the
ServerTasks
parameter.
•
Delete the line
KavOptionsDatabase=KAV\kav_domcct
.
5. Delete the program kernel if its version is older than 3.5.9. To
delete the kernel:
•
Windows NT/2000: in the
disk:\KAVENGINE
folder, run
unreg.bat
and then delete the entire folder.
•
Linux: In the server’s console or on the remote administrator’s
computer type the command
kavdaemon – ka
and delete the
entire folder of the
kavdaemon
program.
6. Install the new version of the product as described in
subchapter 2.2, p. 12.
2.4.
Configuring the program after
installation
After the product is installed on a server, do the following actions:
1. Start the Lotus Domino server.
2. Make sure that the command modules of Kaspersky Anti-Virus
®
are
launched. To do this, type
sh ta
in the command line. The
kavscanner
and
kavmonitor
process must be in the list of running
processes. Pay attention to their statuses.
3. Configure
the
KavCheckBox
document of the address book. To do
this, select this document in the
Server\Mail-In Databases
section,
