The date of the next scan is adjusted automatically depending on the setting of
the
Scan every parameter in the Schedule section.
Immediate database scanning can only be launched from the command
line (see Chapter 6 on page 53).

When scanning the mail messages of the Domino server, the Monitor module
uses the parameters set in the
Settings/Scan of mail window (see Figure 17).
You can open this window using the Scan of mail hyperlink in the Settings
section of the left frame of the configuration database window (see Figure 9).

