recipient, the sender, and other users. Such an operation mode can be set for
any kernel response (virus suspected, object infected etc.)
The notification sending parameters can be set in the
Notifications
section of
the object status window (see Figure 19). In order to open this window the user
can click on the
Reply list
or
Undefined reply
hyperlink in the
Kernel
section of
the left frame of the configuration database window (see Figure 9). If you have
opened the
Kernel/Reply list
window, select the required response from the list
and click on the
Open
hyperlink to open the
Kernel/Return Code/Status
window.
Prior to specifying the notification recipients, select the antiviral kernel response
that will trigger application of these settings. It is advised that these settings are
made for all antiviral kernel responses.
To set the notification sending mode, do the following:
Specify the notification recipients by selecting
Yes
against the
following parameters:
•
List
– Send a notification to the generated mailing list (see
section 5.1 on page 31). The mailing list can include the
addresses of the administrators as well as those of other users,
including external ones.
The following parameters are set only for mail messages!
•
Recipient
– Send a notification to the message recipient.
•
Sender
– Send a notification to the message sender.
In this case, after detecting an infected or suspicious object, the program will
send notifications about the infected message (see Figure 22).
