Disposal of the old equipment
In many cases, very valuable materials remain in the old electrical and electronic equipment.
However, they also contain hazardous substances that were necessary for the function and
safety of the equipment. If added to residual waste or treated incorrectly, these substances
may cause a health hazard or damage the environment. Never include your old electrical and
electronic equipment with your residual waste.
Therefore, use suitable collecting points provided by your community in order to return and
recycle electrical and electronic parts. Ensure not to damage the pipes of your refrigeration
unit until it is ready for transport and shipped to an appropriate environmentally friendly was-
te disposal site. And this will ensure that the cooling media contained inside the refrigerati-
on circuit and the oil inside the compressor will not be drained accidentally and escape into
the environment.
Keep children away from the old equipment until it is ready for transport to the waste dispo-
sal site. Read the information provided in this Operating Manual on page 7 “Safety informati-
on and Warnings”.
NOTE
If you have any questions regarding waste disposal/recycling, please contact the ma-
nufacturer!
