Wheel and Tire
92
Warning !
Always adjust the tire inflation pressure to adapt the current
load of the vehicle.
Driving at high speed for a long period of time will make the tire
with low inflation pressure frequently deform and squeeze. Which
will cause the tires to overheat. And thus may cause tire pattern to
split or even burst, resulting into the risk of accidents!
Information About Environmental Protection
Low tire inflation pressure can increase fuel consumption.
Instruction
Too high or too low tire pressure will greatly shorten the tire life,
and has an adverse impact on the driving characteristics of the car.
Wear Mark
A wear mark indicates whether a tire is worn down.
Tire pattern wear mark
There is a 1.6mm high "wear mark" perpendicular to the rolling
direction of the wheel at the bottom of the original tire pattern.
These wear marks are distributed at the same interval at 6 to 8
places on the running circumference of the tire depending on
different products. A mark on the side of the tire (e.g. capital letter
"TWI" or triangular symbol) indicates the location of the wear
mark.
When the tread depth measured next to the wear mark is only
1.6mm, it indicates that the tire has worn to the minimum
allowable tread depth. (This may be different in some exporting
countries.)
Warning !
When the tire is worn to the wear mark at the latest, it must
be replaced with a new one, otherwise there will be a risk of
accident!
Especially in wet and icy driving conditions, it is required to
select tires with the largest tread depth and tires with similar
tread depth for the front and rear axles.
Too low pattern depth will reduce driving safety especially
during transportation, when there is a risk of water skiing
caused by deep puddles, when passing a curve and detecting
poor braking state.
Improper speed may cause the car out of control.
