6. PERSONAL COMPUTER

CONNECTION METHOD

This projector uses a personal computer to control the projector and adjust the circuits.

(1) Equipment requirements

・

Projector

・

A personal computer with a COM port and the Microsoft

Windows

95 Operating System installed.

Personal computers without a COM port cannot be used.

・

The RS-232C cable provided with the projector.

(2) Connection Method

①

Before using the RS-232C cable to connect, make sure the power of the projector and personal computer are turned off.

②

Use the RS-232C cable provided with the projector to connect the projector RS-232C terminal and the COM port of the
personal computer.

③

Startup
Turn on the power of the projector and the personal computer in that order.

④

Exiting
Turn off the power of the personal computer and the projector in that order.
