Troubleshooting
The following table shows conventional problems and the corresponding solutions. Inform yourself first of all using this table
before you contact our hotline or service department.
If the information provided for troubleshooting does not bring about success, switch OFF the unit via the
mains switch and pull the mains plug out of the plug outlet.
Do not attempt to repair the unit yourself and under no circumstances should you remove the rear cover
from the set.

Weak or excessive

Connect the cable correctly.
The picture is cut off or the
picture is not centred.

Picture position not correctly set.

Correct the picture position.
Use the auto setup function.
The picture is too large or
too small.

Picture format set wrongly.

Repeatedly press the button [FORMAT],
until the picture is displayed as a full screen.
The remote control is not
working.

The batteries are flat.

There is an obstruction between the
remote control and the sensor.

The remote control is located
outside of its operating range.

Insert the new batteries.

Remove the obstruction between the remote
control and the sensor.

Operate the remote control within the speci-
fied range.
The displayed picture is
too dark.

The picture quality is not set correctly.

Correct the picture brightness and contrast
under the menu option <Picture>.
The picture is displayed,
but there is no sound.

The sound is switched to mute.

Set volume to minimum.

Press the

Increase the volume.
