4.2 Mailbox Groups
The “Groups” option of the “Mailbox” menu allows the creation of distribution
lists used to send and resend messages.
These lists may be used to transfer any given received message to various
mailboxes simultaneously or to send a new message to many users at the
same time.
A maximum of 9 groups may be created to organize the existing mailbox
structure and any particular mailbox may appear in one or more groups.
There are 2 types of group available:
Capture:
Once any group member has listened to, or deleted the message, it
becomes “listened to” or “deleted” for all group members. Various capture
groups are generated by default.
Distribution:
Each group member receives and acts upon the message
independently of other group members.
4.2.1 Creating New Groups

By default, only “Capture” groups are created. Double click any group to
change between “Capture” and “Distribution”.

In the left hand column select the group you wish to create.

In the right hand column select those mailboxes you wish to assign to this
group. The
SHIFT
and
CTRL
keys can be used for consecutive or separated
mailboxes respectively.

Click
Add
.
•
Click
OK
to store the on screen settings.
•
Click
Close
if you do not wish to store the on screen settings.
