Errata
Alternatively, you can download a compressed version of the software release
by logging on to http://www.juniper.net/customers/support. The .zip file that
you download contains the software release file. The naming conventions
remain the same as the standards followed when the image was delivered on a
set of software CDs, and all references to the software CDs are valid only for
the downloadable bundle.
The
Configuring VRRP
section in
JunosE System Basics Configuration Guide,
Chapter 1, Planning Your Network
and the
Before You Configure IP
section in
JunosE IP, IPv6, and IGP Configuration Guide, Chapter 1, Configuring IP
erroneously refer to the
JunosE IP Services Configuration Guide.
These
references are corrected to refer to the
JunosE Service Availability Configuration
Guide.
The
Detecting Corrupt File Configurations
section in
JunosE System Basics
Configuration Guide, Chapter 5, Managing the System
fails to mention that if you
check the running configuration for corruption manually when auto mode is
enabled, a warning message appears:
host1(config)#
service check-config running-configuration
WARNING: This command will cause config monitor to switch into manual mode.
Proceed with current command? [confirm]
If you confirm you want to check the running configuration in manual mode or
ignore the warning message, then manual mode is enabled.
In
JunosE IP, IPv6
,
and
IGP Configuration Guide, Chapter 2, Configuring IPv6
, the
Before You Configure
IPv6
section fails to list all the modules that support IPv6.
You can find complete lists of modules that support IPv6 in the following
appendixes:
E120 and E320 Module Guide, Appendix A, IOA Protocol Support
ERX Module Guide, Appendix A, Module Protocol Support
JunosE 10.3.x Service Availability Configuration Guide
,
Chapter 6, Managing
Interchassis Redundancy
fails to clearly describe the working of the master ICR
partition and incorrectly specifies that ICR supports 1:3 subscriber redundancy.
See the
JunosE 11.0.x Service Availability Configuration Guide
for updated
information.
The
OSPF MIB
section in
JunosE IP, IPv6, and IGP Configuration Guide, Chapter 5,
Configuring OSPF
incorrectly mentions that you can obtain more information
about the OSPF MIB from the JunosE Software CDs. You can access detailed
notes about all MIBs only from the software image bundle that is available for
downloading from the Juniper Networks website. This changed method of
accessing MIBs is because software CDs, associated with your router model,
are not supplied in Release 11.0.0.
In the
Monitoring IGMP
section in
JunosE Multicast Routing Configuration Guide,
Chapter 2, Configuring IGMP
, the bulleted list of field descriptions and output
example for the
show ip igmp interface
command incorrectly display the field
name for the number of multicast groups that the interface has discovered as
"Groups learned". The correct label for this field is "Groups learnt".
