– Load correctly palletised.

Procedure
• Drive the truck slowly up to the
pallet.
• Insert the load fork slowly into the
pallet until the pallet is resting
against the back (see figure).

The load must not extend beyond
the tips of the load fork by more
than 50 mm.
• Raise the load handler until you
reach the desired lift height (see
page 83).

In double-decker mode, the load fork must not be raised higher than 1800 mm.
• Drive into the second pallet with the support arms.
• Raise the support arms (see page 84).
• Lower the load forks as far as possible without the load coming into contact with
the support arms.
Both pallets are raised.

Requirements

– Good ground conditions.
Procedure
• Carefully accelerate and brake the truck.
• Adapt your travel speed to the conditions of the route and the load you are
transporting.
• Travel at a constant speed.
• Watch out for other traffic at crossings and passageways.
• You must use a lookout at blind spots.
• On slopes and inclines always carry the load facing uphill; never approach at an
angle or turn.
