8.4.3 Scaling
The scaling start/end value and the dimen-
sion (unit) are defined to record the meas-
urement. For the alpha-numerical presenta-
tion of the measurement on the display and
on the chart, the number format is selected.
Example:
A temperature transmitter supplies a voltage
within the range of 0 — 10V. This range cor-
responds to a temperature of 200 — 600°C.
