The JUDO JRSF automatic backwashing protection filter should where possible be in the
operating position!
7.1.1
Replacing the control unit
Switch off the power supply and secure to prevent switching back on (pull out the mains plug).
Disconnect the linear drive from the control unit at the coupling, disconnect the electrical connecting
cables and the replace the control unit.
Reconnect the electrical connecting cables, leave the linear drive disconnected.
Remove the cover plate at the motor mounting, release and remove the linear drive from the lever
and then the motor mounting to avoid possible damage to the linear drive or JUDO JRSF automatic
backwashing protection filter.
Connect the linear drive to the control unit, then switch on the control unit.
Trigger manual backwashing by pressing the key
(5 seconds). In doing so the Hall pulses for
positioning the linear drive are balanced with the new control unit.
If the control unit indicates “Hall fault”, proceed according to Chap. 7.1.3!
Switch off the control unit and disconnect the linear drive from the control unit.
Reinstall the linear drive correctly in the motor mounting.
Reconnect the linear drive with the control unit, switch on and program according to the local
requirements (see Chap. 5.4 - 5.5).

Reconnect the linear drive with the control unit, switch on and, if necessary, reprogram according to
the local requirements (see Chap. 5.4 - 5.5).
