EXTRAORDINARY MAINTENANCE
We wish to remind you that the Extraordinary Maintenance to be carried out on this type of product must be done obligatorily every year
by qualified maintenance personnel, in order to maintain its functionality, efficiency and comfort.
For any further queries you may have, we invite you to contact the specialised Technical Service Center through your retailer.
Scheduled maintenance must include
:
•
Flue and pipe cleaning (with special focus on horizontal segments)
•
Cleaning of any deposits in the appliance
• Check the integrity of the fireplace hydraulic kit
•
Check electric/electronic system integrity
•
Check of the condition of the internal refractory integrity
•
Check of the air inlets
To carry out these operations, the appliance must be disconnected from the mains; wait until be appliance is cold
and comply rigorously with the safety regulations in force.
WARNING
Cleaning the flue
Flue cleaning depends on its uptake, on the fireplace’s usage, on weather conditions and the type of wood used. To clean the flue it is
necessary to remove the smoke deflector (carry out the operations in step 8 of point d) of paragraph 07.3 in reverse order), the fume cap
(1) by unscrewing the respective screws from the inside of the fireplace

) and the inspection opening of the flue gas pass unscrewing

It is mandatory to clean the flue every year, by a specialised technician, in autumn before lighting the
fireplace.
At the end of the cleaning operations, assemble everything perfectly
Air inlets
Check that the external air intakes are clean and free from any clogged materials. Clean if necessary.
It is recommended to protect the external air intakes using specific protection netting.
