INSTALLING THE CLADDING: PRECAUTIONS
• Protection of domestic walls
Installation of the fireplace near inflammable walls is only allowed if you maintain the distances indicated below, or if suitable protection is
interposed. The surfaces such as the flooring, ceiling and walls of the home in the vicinity of the fireplace must be protected to prevent
overheating. Insulating panels must be overlapped to avoid leaking. The sizes and types of insulation depend on the type of surface being
protected.
• Insulation types
Insulation can be made of various materials: mineral fibre, ceramic fibre, rock wool, and can come in different forms: sheets, mattresses. Its
specific weight must be equal or greater than 245 kg/m

with a temperature threshold of about 1000°C; and thermal conductivity of l (400°C) <=
0,1 W/m

. This material must be coded “AGI Q132” or “DIN 18895”.
If the material used is not inside any walls, it is advisable to fasten it to the entire wall surface, to prevent the fibres from being dispersed into
the air.
• Beam
The beam can be fitted in front of the fireplace cladding maintaining a distance of at least 10 mm so that the space between it and the fireplace
does not create accumulation of heat. The beam must not be inside the fireplace irradiation field (see
