Glass cleaning (daily)
Clean the glass daily with a damp sponge or paper hand towels
(
F
ig
. 53-54
). If the glass becomes dirty with black smoke, the
brazier is probably dirty or the combustion air must be increased.
Be careful not to use overly aggressive products to avoid ruining
the paint. Never spray detergents directly onto the parts to be
cleaned (
F
ig
. 55-56
).
If the stove requires more frequent and deeper cleaning, check
the flue draught performance and the chimney cap. A windproof
chimney cap is strongly recommended.
Also clean the outside window where necessary (
F
ig
. 57).
The glass is self-cleaning and the, while the stove is in operation,
a film of air flows along the surface of the same, taking away
the ash and dirt; Nevertheless after a few hours, a graysh flap
will appear and it has to be cleaned at the first shutdown of
the stove. The dirt the glass also depends on the quality and
quantity of pellets used. When this done, always observe if
the gray seal around the lass is in good condition; if you fail
to control the efficiency of this seal the operation of the stove
may be compromised. Pellets of poor quality, dirty brazier, may
nevertheless cause more dirt in the glass.

Cleaning the cladding (as necessary)
Only use neutral water-based detergents to clean the cladding
with a damp cloth (
F
ig
. 58-59
). Never spray detergents directly
on painted cladding parts (
F
ig
. 60
).
Use of abrasive and/or corrosive chemical products can damage
the painted parts and are reason for invalidation of the warranty
on these parts
The chromatic variations of the painted surfaces, especially
those in different materials and finishes and subject to different
temperatures, cannot be deemed reason for dispute as they
depend upon the natural characteristics of the materials and the
use of the product.
