Alarm State
Zero (0) means that the unit is not in an alarm state. 255 (0xFF) means that
alarming is disabled. All other values (between 1 and 254, inclusive) mean that the
unit is in the alarm state. The specific numbers (between 1 and 254) are
manufacturer specific as to their meaning, but all represent an alarm state.
