The SWM mode can be accessed only if it has been
previously be activated in the HWM mode.

Fit a clip or stick-on weight to the rim indicated when
this plane’s WAP indicator lights up.

Weight position indicator.
Fit a stick-on weight at the indicated rim position
when this plane’s WAP indicator lights up.

System signals
Possible beeps:
High:
the unit returns a short high beep after activating
a key (

Low:
the unit returns a low beep if an error is detected,
usually together with a system message.
Error messages can also be indicated by means of
acoustic signals.
The service technician can locate and eliminate the
corresponding error by means of the number of tones,
their frequency and duration (long/short) and the length
of the pauses.

The input panel
Refer to Figure 4-6.
1. Diameter key with indicator
Press to select “rim diameter” mode. The diameter
indicator will light up, the unit will beep. The current
value will be shown on the display and can be
edited.
2. Width key with indicator
Press to select “rim width” mode. The width indicator
will light up, the unit will beep. The current value
will be shown on the display and can be edited.
3. Offset key with indicator
Press to select “offset” mode. The offset indicator
will light up, the unit will beep. The current value
will be shown on the display and can be edited.
Pressing the offset key in HWM enables the
operator to enter the plane reference points again.
