III. Draining procedure
Warning: Before operation, make sure all corrugated
tubes are properly connected and locked and the filter
has been filled with the correct amount of sand.
Warning: Before operation, make sure the product is
disconnected from the grounded receptacle protected
by electrical leakage.
Warning: The control valve is provided with one closed
valve position. Do not attempt to start the product when
the control valve is in the closed position.
1.Make sure the product is powered-
off.
2.Remove the drain nuts (P3) first,
then move the adapter (P4) at Port A
and water pipe (P18) to Port D (see
FIG. 12).
3.Press the control valve handle
downwards and rotate it to the draining
position, and then turn the power
1.After the aforementioned preparations, the sand
filter pump is ready for use. Set the filter function of
the control valve.
2.Insert the plug into the matched receptacle to run
the sand filter pump.
Note: During the operation of the sand filter pump,
check the pressure reading of the manometer (P1).

on. Perform draining until clean water is discharged (see FIG. 12). After
draining, disconnect the power.
4.Rotate the control valve handle to backwashing position. Power on again,
until clean water flows, then backwashing finishes. Disconnect power (see
FIG. 12).
5.Remove the adapter (P4) at Port D and water pipe (P18) and return them
to Port A (see FIG. 10).
6. Return the drain nut (P3) to Port D (see FIG. 10).
7.Power on and select the required function position. Begin operation.
Note: this step is for first operation only.
Note: do not attempt to set between two functions of the control valve to
avoid possible leakage.
