V. Sand Filter Pump Maintenance
VI. Motor and Slag Blocking Barrel Cleaning and Maintenance
Note: You must make sure that maintenance begins
only after the sand filter pump is unplugged.
Otherwise serious risks such as personal injury and
even death may occur.
Note: Record the reading of the manometer during
the operation of the sand filt er pump (see FIG. 15).
When the manometer shows a pressure of 0.2bar
(3psi) or higher, please clean up the sand bend
or replace the sand. Use "backwash" and "rinse"
functions.
Note: regular rinsing according to use situation is
recommended.
1.It is essential to make sure the power cord is
removed from the receptacle.
2.Block the water outlet of the pool.
3.Unscrew the slag blocking cover (P15) on the
slag blocking barrel in an anticlockwise direction,
take out the slag blocking screen (P13) and the
seal ring (P14).
4.Rinse the slag blocking screen with a water
pipe. If necessary, use a plastic brush to remove
impurities. Do not use a metal brush.
5.Rinse the inside of the slag blocking screen
and the seal ring of the slag blocking barrel with a
water pipe
6.Install the seal ring (P14) of the slag blocking
barrel, the slag blocking screen (P13) and the

sand filter pump is less than 0.2bar (3psi) (green area) (see FIG. 14), it
runs normally.
