12.7.2 The mode selector
When the integrated controller is powered-up, the position of the mode selector is
read out.

By means of the built-in mode selector, the starting behavior of the integrated
controller can be influenced.
Start-Up Process
Once the start-up procedure has been completed, the position of the mode selector
has no longer influence on the controller functions. The current position of the mode
selector can be scanned in register 10181.
