REMOVING A REFRIGERATOR LIGHT SOCKET
BOTTOM MOUNT MODELS
Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Replace all parts and panels before
operating.
Failure to do so can result in death or
electrical shock.
1. Unplug refrigerator or disconnect power.
2. If needed, remove the food and racks
from the upper shelf.
3. Place the fingers of both hands into the
light cover slots and pull the cover down.
WARNING
4. Unscrew the bulb from the light socket you
are removing.
6. Disconnect the two wires from the bulb
holder terminals and remove the holder.

5. Using a small flat-blade screwdriver, push
in on the light socket retainer, and pull the
socket out of its opening in the refrigerator
liner.
