Removal and Replacement

Lower Arm Replacement
Note: Replacement is the reverse of removal, but note the
following:
1 Renew all self-locking nuts.
2 Do not fully tighten the chassis mountings until the
vehicle is at normal ride height.
3 Correctly install the kingpins - see Section ‘H’
Steering . Observe important notes regarding
assembling the kingpins.
4 The correct grade of fasteners must be used. Also,
where specified, use hardened washers - NOT
ordinary washers.
5 Correctly torque tighten fasteners:
