Tipper Ram
Removal and Replacement
1 Park the machine on firm level ground. Apply the
parking brake and chock the wheels.
Note: Ensure that the load bay is empty.
2 Operate the tipper ram to fully raise the load bay.
Switch off the engine.
Note: If the tipper ram has failed with the load bay closed
then access to the ram and battery can be gained via the
removable rear grille. To remove the grille, remove the two
upper fasteners and lift the grille from the bottom locating
plate.
3 Disconnect the battery.
4 Unplug the tipper ram electrical connector.
5 Safely support the load bay.

WARNING
This component is heavy. It must only be removed or
handled using a suitable lifting method and device.

6 Remove the chassis pivot bolt 1-B from the lower end
of the unit.
7 Support the ram before disconnecting it from the load
bay
1-A . Remove the tipper ram from the vehicle.
Replacement
When replacing, note the following:
1 Renew all self-locking nuts.
2 Tighten the connecting bolts (top and bottom) enough
to prevent loosening whilst still allowing free
movement of the ram.
