20.00 Using the MCard - Option
The Event MCard is an optional accessory which allows all the information
recorded in the console to be saved to a compact RAM disk. Anyone who regularly
runs the same show is strongly advised to fit an MCard. It is not possible to access
the MCard menu unless the console is fitted with the MCard option panel.
20.10 To Open the MCard Menu
1. Press the Setup button to open the Setup menu.
2. Move the cursor to the MCARD field and press the

(On) button to open
the Set MCard menu.
NOTE:
If the MCard option is not fitted, it is not possible to activate the MCard menu.
20.20 To Save the Information Recorded in the Event:
1. First ensure that the MCard battery is fitted and the write enable switch is
on, then insert the MCard in the rear panel slot.
2. Open the MCARD menu as detailed above.
3. Move the cursor to the TO MCARD field and press the

(On) button.
4. A record confirmation screen shows.
5. Press Exit to close this menu.
20.30 Loading From the MCard.
When information is loaded from MCard all Memories, Chases and Patches are
overwritten.
To retrieve information recorded on MCard to the Event:
1. First ensure that the MCard battery is fitted and the write enable switch is
on, then insert the recorded MCard in the rear panel slot.
2. Open the MCARD menu as detailed above.
3. Move the cursor to the FROM MCARD field and press the

(On) button.
4. A loaded confirmation screen shows.
5. Press Exit to close this menu.
NOTE:
Remove MCard from the slot immediately after loading from or saving to a
MCard. Leaving the MCard in the slot while turning console On/Off may corrupt
the information stored.
