3.
If you are using a dock, skip to Step 6; otherwise, continue with the steps
below
.
If the voltage falls within the ranges listed above (5.15V+ without load
and 4.8V+ with load), check the dock green light. If the green light is not on,
then the dock may be malfunctioning. Contact Service by emailing
to open a ticket for repairs.
4. If the green light on the dock is on, visually check the pogo pins. Properly
functioning pogo pins should be straight. They should all be the same size, and
they should retract when pressed. If the pins are not in good condition, your dock
may be malfunctioning. Contact Service by emailing
to open a ticket. If the pogo pins appear to be in good condition,
check the pogo pin voltage between the first and fourth pin. The voltage should
be greater than 5.10V.
Please look at the following image for guidance
.
5. If the pogo pins on the dock are in good condition and have voltage of
5.10V+, click and fit the tablet in the dock. The tablet should
automatically power on or display a charging image.
Check the voltage between
the first pin (-) and the fourth
pin (+), making sure to count
from left to right.
