Environmental Considerations
The TT800V is built to operate in a wide temperature range. If the internal temperature
of the device exceeds certain temperatures, the device will power off to protect its
internal components from the extreme heat. Once the temperature in the room/area
normalizes, the tablet will then be able to resume normal functionality and activity. The
following are the internal temperature thresholds for the device:
Battery Operational Temp: 0°C to 55°C (32°F to 130°F)
Device Storage Temperature:

20°C to 60°C (

4°F to 140°F)
To help prevent the device from overheating, the following actions are suggested :
1.
Do not leave the device(s) in direct sunlight for extended periods of time in a
confined vehicle environment.
2.
Do not place device(s) on hot surfaces beyond more than the above
temperatures.
3. Do not leave the device(s) in the vehicle for extended periods of time under
extreme heat conditions.
4.
Store in a cool, dry place.
5.
Keep a sunscreen reflector on the vehicle windshield from inside.
Keep the area surrounding the device clear of additional items or clutter. Circulating
air will help cool the tablet. Note: Extreme fluctuation in temperature and
operational temperature could cause the tablet to overheat and catch fire,
or result in a shorter battery life. We ask that you please consider the
suggestions made in the user manual and only use the tablet in acceptable
and non-extreme environmental conditions.
