Hiding the menu bar
To prevent the user of the device from making changes, you can hide the menu bar.
Select
Tools > Hide menu

Restoring the menu bar
The menu bar must be available if you want to make adjustments to the device. If the menu bar is not available, you will need to restore
it.
Proceed as follows to restore the menu bar:

Use a ballpoint pen to press the reset button.

If you need a password to display the menu bar, then the
Password
dialog appears. Enter the password and click
OK
.
The menu bar appears at the bottom.

Setting the start-up options
You can set the mode you want Mind Express to start up in; whether the menu should be visible, or whether access to the menu is pro-
tected with a password, and which document should appear when launched.
