Introduction
The Smart is a small and handy portable communication device with a dynamic screen. Random messages can be spoken by the device
using symbols, pictures or other visual images. The Smart is based on a Windows Mobile computer platform and uses the Mind Express
software.
The Smart features a high-quality internal microphone and a robust sound amplification, so that compiled and/or chosen messages are
realistically reproduced and are loudly and clearly intelligible.
The Smart has a communication supporting function. This device is intended for general use in everyday life for people (from the age of
3) with a communication disorder (are not able to speak or cannot speak clearly). They must also possess sufficient motor and mental
abilities to use the device. The device is not suitable for clinical, therapeutic or diagnostic use. The device is able to learn infrared codes
and transmit these in order to control other devices through the unit. This includes devices for general use such devices for audio-visual
and home automation applications. This extension is not suitable for clinical, therapeutic or diagnostic use.
