Serial Interface Features
3.5.1
Data UART Headers (RS232)
The RZ/G1H Camera Add-On Module supports five Data UART Headers J9, J6, J8, J3 & J2 to support UART interfaces
through RZ/G1H
CPU’s SCIF
0, SCIF1, SCIF2, SCIFB1 & HSCIF0 respectively. The UART interface signals from the
Expansion conenctor2 is
connected to “MAX3232E” RS232 transceiver
which converts 3.3V level into RS232 level and
connected to 6pin headers. These Data UART headers are physically located at the top of the board as shown below.
In RZ/G1H Camera Add-On Module, Data UART interface with Transmit & Receive signal only supported on SCIF0,
SCIF1, SCIF2 & SCIFB1 headers. But Data UART interface with hardware flow control for request to send and clear to
send signals also supported on HSCIF0 header (J2).
