Start-up for cooking and loading/
unloading products
N.B.! Before proceeding with these operations, see
“Daily activation”.
When lighting for the first time, wait for the pos-
sible formation of air inside the gas circuit to fully
escape from the duct.
Start the appliance only after having filled the
tank.
The appliance must be used with tap water inside
the tank. Any other use is improper and therefore
dangerous.
Make sure that the water drain valve is shut (figure 1).
Turn the water filling knob to the open position (figure 2
Detail A) and fill the tank to the level indicator.
Then position the knob at zero to stop the flow of water
(figure 2 Detail B)
While operating, the water level inside the tank
must remain within the indicated limits.
N.B.! In order to top-up the water level during
operation, act on the filling knob, placing it at low
flow (Figure 2 Detail c)

Ignition (Figure 3)
Turn the knob while holding it in the piezoelectric posi-
tion (Detail D). Simultaneously press the piezoelectric
button several times (Detail e) until the pilot light is lit.
Release the knob after about 20” and check to make
sure the pilot light remains lit (figure 3).
N.B.! The pilot light can be seen through the hole on
the vertical top.
When the pilot light has been lit, turn the knob to mini-
mum or maximum to adjust the flame (figure 3 Detail f).
