1. Bend out the wear ring at a suitable point.
Use a crowbar.
2. Knock out the wear ring.
Use a chisel and a hammer.
3. Check that the surface intended for the wear ring is clean and undamaged.
4. Drive in the new wear ring.
To prevent deformation use either a rubber mallet or a wooden block and a hammer.
