Before servicing a vibrator, wait until the temperature of its casing is not more than
40°C and check that it has been disconnected from the electricity supply.
Only use genuine ITALVIBRAS spare parts.
For type M/ it’s not possible to replace bearings, shaft, bearing housings and stator.
For types M/0, M/ it’s possible to replace bearings and shaft, it’s not possible to
replace bearing housings and stator. To replace bearings and shaft disassemble the vi-
brator according to the following indications (also refers to the figure in pages.0-1):
- disconnect the power supply and remove the vibrator from the vibrating machine;
- remove the weight covers (n°), having fulcrum in the two 10° niches;
- unscrew the nuts (n°), disassemble the eccentric weights (n°1) and the washers
(n°1);
- take out the shaft (n°) out of the motor body pushing it from one side, it will take out
a bearing also (n°);
- remove the bearing from the shaft and push the shaft into the motor body (n°1) again
to take out the second bearing;
- assemble a new bearing in the bearing housing, introduce the shaft and mount the
second bearing;
- complete the assembling following the previous instructions in reversed with maximum
care.
To replace the supplying cable unscrew the wiring box cover screws (n°), cut the old
cable and connect the new cable following the wiring layout in page -.
Turn the shaft by hand and check that its float is between 0.-1. mm.
ATTENTION: Each time the above mentioned servicing operations are carried
out, it is advisable to tighten the screws with a torque wrench (see table at
page 72).
3.3 SPARE PARTS
To order spare parts the MICRO vibrator type, the spare part code (pages
0-1
and table) and the requested quantity must be communicated to Italvibras.
