1.7 SAFETY
INFORMATION
1.7.a Accessories
Choosing the right accessories for
your vehicle is an important decision.
Use only original accessories, availa-
ble from Italjet dealers that have been
tested and approved for use on your
vehicle.
The addition of electrical accessories
must be done with caution. If the elec-
trical accessories exceed the capacity
of the scooter’s electrical system, an
electrical system failure may occur.
1.7.b Transportation of the scooter
Before transporting your scooter in
another vehicle, please observe the
following instructions.
- Remove all loose objects from the
scooter.
- Orient the front wheel in the run-
ning position in a straight line on the
trailer or on the truck bed and lock it
appropriately to prevent it from mov-
ing.
- Secure the scooter with appropriate
ropes or anchoring straps to solid
components of the scooter itself,
such as the frame (and not for ex-
ample to the direction indicators or
other components that could break).
Carefully choose the location of the
straps to prevent them from rubbing
against painted parts during trans-
port.
- The suspension, if possible, should
be partially compressed, so that the
scooter does not jolt excessively
during transport.
1.7.c Foldable key
The key (1) of the Dragster is foldable.
To avoid breaking it, it is recommend-
ed to bend the handle of the key (1)
perpendicular to the key itself while
the vehicle is moving.
