3.1 CHECKS BEFORE USE
Inspect the vehicle each time you use
it to make sure it is in a safe condi-
tion to operate. Always observe the
inspection and maintenance proce-
dures and intervals described in the
use and maintenance manual.
WARNING
Failure to perform a proper
inspection or maintenance of
the vehicle increases the pos-
sibility of accidents or dam-
age to the vehicle. Do not use
the vehicle if you experience
problems. If the malfunction
cannot be eliminated with the
instructions provided in this
manual, have the vehicle in-
spected by an
Italjet
dealer.
Before using this vehicle, please
check the following points :
ELEMENT CONTROLS
Fuel
- Check the fuel level in the fuel tank.
- Refuel if necessary.
- Check for leaks in the fuel circuit.
Motor oil
- Check the oil level in the engine.
- If necessary, add oil of the recommended type up to the
level.
- Check for the absence of oil leaks from the engine.
Final
transmission oil
- Check for the absence of oil leaks from the transmis-
sion.
Coolant
- Check the coolant level in the expansion tank.
- If necessary, top up the coolant.
- Check that there are no leaks in the cooling system.
Wheels and tires
- Check for damage.
- Check the condition of the tires and the tread depth.
- Check the air pressure.
