Installation - Wall Plenum

to prevent damage, this unit should not be operated to provide supplementary heat-
ing and cooling during the construction period. The unit is designed for operation in a normal indoor envi-
ronment. operating this unit in an unenclosed space or exposure to construction environment may result in
permanent equipment damage.
The following is the sequence of steps for installing the Islandaire VTAC unit:

Install Wall Plenum Assembly

Attach Discharge Plenum to Top of Chassis

Level Drain Pan - Cut legs to proper height
and level Drain Pan using Leveling Screws

Install flexible duct to Discharge Plenum

Install Exterior Louver

Make unit power connections

Install Condensate Piping

Make thermostat connections

Place Chassis on Drain Pan, slide in and
secure to Wall Plenum (using latches)
10 Install Interior Access Panel/Grille
