CLI Management by Telnet
You can use
Telnet
to configure the switch. The default values are:
IP Address:
192.168.10.1
Subnet Mask:
255.255.255.0
Default Gateway:
192.168.10.254
User Name:
admin
Password:
admin
Follow the steps below to access the console via Telnet.
1)
Connect your PC to one of the Ethernet ports of the switch via an Ethernet cable.
2)
Telnet to the IP address of the switch from the Windows
Run
command (or from the MS-DOS
prompt).

The Console login screen appears. Use the keyboard to enter the Console
’s
Username and
Password, then press Enter. Note that these Username and Password are the same as the ones
used for the Web Management.
The default Username is “admin” and the default Password is
“admin”.
