Burner Button (Primary Heat Source)

The Burner buttons on the remote panel turn the diesel
burner ON and OFF.
The ON button and the flame symbol will turn on when the
diesel burner has been activated, and will remain ON while
the burner cycles on and off.
AC Element Button (Supplemental Heat Source)
•
The Electric Heat buttons turn ON and OFF the electric heating
element(s).
Pushing the up arrow button once will turn ON one electric
element. 1.5KW will be displayed indicating the current draw
associated with the operation of a single 120 VAC element. If
the up arrow button is pushed a second time, 3.0KW will be
displayed indicating the current draw associated with two 120
VAC elements. The electrical symbol will illuminate when AC
power is available and when one or both elements are
energized.
Engine Pre-Heat Button (optional)
•
Engine Preheat buttons: Turns ON and OFF the engine
preheat pump.
This feature is available when an optional engine pre-heat
pump has been installed. The on button and the engine
symbol will turn on when the engine pre-heat pump is
activated. The engine pre-heat pump will not function unless
the coolant in the Hurricane
®
Chinook Heating System has
reached 120F (49C).
